Shul: The Hypercar
Vazirani Shul is a hypercar designed by the homegrown company called Vazirani. It is also India’s first ever electric hypercar. It has been designed in California with technical inputs from the very own F1 Team, Force India F1 team. and some other companies located in the U.K and Michelin. It is a limited production hypercar. Vazirani Shul is developed by Vazirani Automotive, which is based in Mumbai.
WHAT ARE THE INTERNALS?
Now this is the interesting part. Instead of taking the conventional IC Engine route (like V8,V6,W12,etc.,), Vazirani has opted for a jet engine powerplant. This engine acts as a sort of a range extender. The engine feed the electric motors which have a torque vectoring capabilities. The whole powertrain is connected to a single ratio gearbox which similar to that found in Regra. The biggest highlight is that it doesn’t need a high octane diet.
It is made out of a carbon fibre tub with battery pack of mass 300 kg sitting beneath the driver, giving a higher g(acceleration due to gravity).
WHEN IS HITTING THE ROADS?
It is still in a concept phase. The company is on the verge of starting the testing procedures. Expect to set the roads on fire in the 2020 or 2021.
